What is vaginal rejuvenation?

At Florida Cosmetic Center, Dr. Pasha uses the Vitalia device to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy to the skin of your labia and vagina, creating a thermal effect.

A noninvasive procedure, it stimulates your body’s natural production of collagen – a protein that keeps skin smooth, strong, and healthy – and elastin, which is a protein that increases skin’s elasticity.

What happens during a vaginal rejuvenation procedure?

After being shown to a private and comfortable room, you can prepare for the vaginal rejuvenation procedure in the same way you prepare for a vaginal exam at your OB/GYN.

To start the procedure, Dr. Pasha inserts the specially designed Vitalia device, which is only one half-inch in diameter and shaped with your comfort in mind. He can use the same device on your labia, restoring your lower lips to their pre-pregnancy condition.

He leaves the device on each treatment area for three to five minutes, and the whole treatment takes about 30 minutes.

Vitalia treatments are noninvasive and nonablative, therefore requiring no downtime. Once the treatment is over, you can return to your normal daily activities, including sexual intercourse, without restrictions.

When can you see results from vaginal rejuvenation?

Although you may notice benefits after your first Vitalia treatment, it takes a month to get the maximum benefit. In most cases, Dr. Pasha recommends three treatments over three months.

When you complete all three therapy sessions, your results last anywhere between nine and 12 months. The procedure will improve how your vagina functions and feels during sex, for both you and your partner.
