How does CoolSculpting work?

During your initial CoolSculpting consultation at Florida Cosmetic Center, you can discuss your body shaping and fat reduction goals with Dr. Pasha. He examines your body, focusing on your trouble areas, and creates a treatment plan to address your concerns.

At your first CoolSculpting treatment session, Dr. Pasha determines which applicator to use, depending on the treatment area and how much fat it has. He sets up the machine and places the applicator on your skin.

Once Dr. Pasha turns it on, the equipment vacuums the targeted area into the applicator, where the temperature drops, freezing your fat cells. Most treatments last 35-60 minutes, during which time you can read, play on your phone, or nap.

Once your fat cells freeze, they become damaged beyond repair and die, in which case your body naturally removes them. Because your body can’t replace these cells, you’re left with fewer fat cells, and you have a more contoured and shapely silhouette.

When can you notice results from CoolSculpting?

In some cases, you may notice CoolSculpting results in as little as three weeks after your first treatment, although the most dramatic results occur two months post-treatment.
